Gelato has been at the heart of Benets since the very beginning. Every batch is made in-house, by hand, using authentic Italian methods and quality ingredients. We don’t cut corners—just simple recipes, fresh produce, and care in the process.

The result is gelato that’s full of flavour and a little different from anything else you’ll find in Cambridge. From classic favourites to seasonal specials, every scoop is made to be savoured on its own, paired with coffee, or in one of our signature desserts.

Nearly twenty years on, gelato is still what defines us—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Gelato vs Ice Cream

The difference between gelato and ice cream is down to the ingredients and creation process, which wields a vastly different final product.

Due to the lower fat content gelato is silkier, smoother and more dense. Plus allows for the flavours to shine through without overpowering.
